History & Introduction
TMT technology was developed in the 1970s to replace traditional CTD (Cold Twisted Deformed) bars. Indian primary producers like Tata, JSW, SAIL and Vizag adopted advanced quenching technology to deliver IS 1786 compliant high-strength rebar that today reinforces every major project in India.
